New Lens

I just bought this beauty, and I'm super stoked. (Wine was only a little involved.) I watched a YouTube by this guy, and he has the same camera I do and recommended this lens, so I couldn't help myself since I'd been eyeballing it anyway. I think lenses themselves are beautiful. I have a few lenses I don't even use that I just hang on to because I collect antique cameras. I'm also adding photography blogs to my blog list in the sidebar. You should go check them out. Especially Lost America. Troy Paiva is brilliant. 

In other news, classes start again Monday, and I'm not excited. I can't wait until it's over and I make tons of money which I shall spend frugally.. not really. I shall buy more lenses. More and more and more.

A Better Late Than Never Introduction

I just realized I never introduced my beloved camera.This is 3rd Eye Blue - Blu for short. She is a Canon EOS Rebel T7i DSLR, and my first serious camera. We've become pretty close over these past few months and I enjoy her company more than the vast majority of people. She goes almost everywhere with me.

My goal is to teach her to capture the beauty that I see in the world.
